Hi,

I just got my Motorola MPX 220 and want to develop software for it.
Looking at the Microsoft pages, I'm a litte bit confused:

My phone tells me, that it's OS is Windows CE 4.210. On MSDN I always
read 'Windows Mobile 2003 for Smartphone'!?

I would prefer to develop in C# but C++ would also be possible. Could
somebody enlight me, where to start and which version of the Toolkits
and SDK I should download?

And one further question: Is it also possible to use ActiveSync from
ones one applications?

regards,
Achim

Native: eVC 4 SP3 or SP4
Managed: Visual Studio 2003 Professional or Enterprise

For both of the above you will need to download and install Smartphone 2003
SDK

An alternative would be to obtain Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 (or July CTP -
not August!), which includes everything you need for either managed or
unmanaged development on SP 2003
