Hi all

I have an iPAQ h6365 and am using ActiveSync 4.1 to sync with Our Exchange
2003 server.

Things seem to be working fine until I turn on the Proxy settings on my
desktop’s Internet Explorer. When I do this and try to sync via the docking
cradle, I get a “Synchronization failed because of a server error. Try again.
Error code: HTTP_504” error and the following text in the ServerLog0 file

As soon as I turn of the proxy settings on my desktop’s Internet explorer,
syncing with the server over the docking cradle works fine. The desktop's
proxy settings don't seem to impact syncing via GPRS.

Is there an area in the PocketPC OS to make it ignore the proxy settings on
the desktop when in the docking cradle as this I think will resolve the
problem?

Thanks

Witek.

Hi,
On the desktop can you access OWA via the same host name with the proxy on?
