Hi all,

I have just purchased a 64-bit machine from Sun Microsystems and am running
Windows XP 64-bit.

At work I use Desktop Search and I think it rocks.

Unfortunately the install errors out saying that the OS (XP 64-bit) is not
supported.

Any ideas about whether this is in the pipeline?

Thanks
Joubert

I don't believe anything has been announced either way yet.

With Vista around the corner, who knows if they'd consider it worth while.

To what Paul has said the only info I have seen is this:

http://search.msn.com/docs/toolbar.aspx?t=MSNTbar_DS_FAQ.htm&FORM=RQSP&v=02.00.00#64

Actually I take that back, I seem to recall reading something about it on
the MSN DTS blog but I can't seem to find it.

Thanks guys.

In the meantime I have installed the new Google Desktop on my 64-bit box.
My 32-bit box still uses MSN Desktop search as I think it is better than
Google's.

Waiting.... :-)
