Please log in for more thread options
download regmon from sysinternals and run it when you open the advanced
options page. I suspect what is happening is that as it is reading the list
of persistent handlers for file extensions it is encountering a problem
sometime after .mda and failing. You may have to remove a persistenthandler
entry which is problematic.
