Please log in for more thread options Great, I'll be interested to hear what you find out. I'm wondering if it's
some sort of deadlock between desktop search and explorer, since launching it
manually after explorer starts always fixes the problem. Also, killing
explorer.exe and then relaunching both explorer.exe and desktop search fixes
the problem.
There used to be a registry key in MSN search to delay the startup, but I
can't seem to find the matching key for the enterprise edition.
