I downloaded NVidia video drivers to install in a friends computer to my
desktop. I opened the files to send the the files to my CD drive to write the
files to a disk. What happened was my whole desktop is covered with the Icons
of the files, when I delete the files I just keep getting more files i.e.
copy 1, copy 2, copy 3 and so on every time I logon. I tried to do a system
restore, but it only allows me to restore from today, I did this yesterday so
it would do my no good to use the restore tool. What do I need to do to fix
this problem?

Before doing anything make sure the system is clean.

was exactly the way the article said it should be.
