I bought two Dell Latitude LS's recently that were without OS's.
Because these systems dont have them and I cannot seem to get it to
boot with a USB CDROM, What I did was install Win98SE from a secondary
computer, and then just transfer the Hard Drive. Now, when I boot up
Win98SE everything moves fine until it is completely booted (the
keyboard types in the pw fine, the mouse moves around perfect speed,
etc). Once it is completely booted, it runs at SLOWER than a snails
pace. The mouse barely even moves, and when I click on a button on
the keyboard, it takes a minute to make any reaction. This happened
with two different hard drive configurations, on EACH of the two
computers. Does anyone have any ideas about this?
