Last night my puppies took a little job across the keyboard of my
3-month-old Dell Inspiron 2200 and detached two of the key caps and
white, plastic hinges. I followed the instructions Dell gave me to
reattach them, but can't seem to do it. Anyone have any ideas on how to
fix this? Thanks in advance.

They normally just press ("snap") back into position. But it's the kind
of thing that an experienced laptop technician could do in 10 seconds,
that some end-users will not get done right in an hour, even if given
directions.

If I remember well Dell laptops have 2 white plastic things under the key.

You should:
- connect in the right way the 2 white hinges (there are 4 way to connect
them)
- put in the right way the "X-formed 2-hinges" thing under the key (there
are other 4 ways to put it on)
- press the key down looking behind if all goes ok

Sorry but i cant speak english so well to explain it correctly... :|
