Please log in for more thread options Sounds like a bad backlight, which could be either the lamps themselves
or the inverter that powers them. It could also be a setting in the
software that sets the inverter brightness, I'd think Dell would have
gone through that with you. If it's the lamps or inverter, it's a
service problem, it needs to go to a Dell service center or have someone
come onsite to repair it.
