Hi all. I recently sold my Dell Inspiron 9300 because it was a little
too bulky. I decided to go with the Inspiron 700m which I love so
far, EXCEPT the integrated 3D Graphics (Intel Extreme Graphics 2)
64MB of shared memory. I can't play anything 3D. Not even the first
version of CounterStrike for crying out loud. Well, I'm starting to
think that Im pretty much screwed.

Here are my system specs:
Dell 700m
2.10GHz Pentium M Centrino / 400MHz FSB
2GB DDR 333MHz 2 Dimm
100GB HD 5400rpm
Integrated Intel Extreme Graphics 2 64MB shared

-Does anyone know if there is any possible way to upgrade to a 3D
card, like Nvidia, ATI, etc?
-Does this laptop support PCI Express. Is there even any open space to
upgrade?
-I read that manual and i might have a Mini PCI slot. Are there any
Mini PCI 3D cards.
Will i ever be able to play my favorite 1st person shooter on this
laptop? LoL...

unless there was a variant of the 700m with a different 3d adaptor,
you're hosed. even if there was, it'd be expensive, a little tricky to
fit if possible at all, and you'd void your warranty. no mini-pci
cards for video exist: these are used for wireless, mainly.
you'd be better off selling it and getting a gaming laptop.

ehh... I guess I have to pay the price if i want an ultra portable
laptop..
