Greetings,

Media Center has been a flame in my backside
since we bought our fancy Qosmio Toshiba multimedia laptop.

Our computer is now out of warranty and Toshiba
has confirmed that I have a software issue with
the Media Center, not Toshiba.

The Problem:
Media Center takes DVDs or double-clicked media,
into a full-screen "lockout mode" which prevents me from
escaping that mode unless I activate the Media Center and
then attempt to quite the media from there. I have changed the
default media player for the D: drive.
I have also changed the default DVD player and media player via
the Media Center settings where possible, yet somehow,
after a restart or two, the Media Center monster comes back and takes
full control of everything!!!!

(and yes, I have gone through a fresh install and selective bios/driver
install with Toshiba, so please leave them out of this.)

Please help.

Regards,
Toe Cutter
