How do I set WMDC to allow me to choose where I want apps to be installed -
main memory or SD card?

Thanks - Ron

1) I forgot how I told my PDA to ask me. It may well have been among the
tips in http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/tipsandtricks/?en.

2) If you have CAB files on your PDA, you can use
http://freewareppc.com/utilities/cabinstl.shtml to install them where you
want them.

Hi Ron,

If you are trying to install an app via the PC using WMDC, after you run the
setup, you will be prompted with a dialog which says would you like to
install the software to the default location. If you say Yes, it will
install it on the main memory, if you say No it will pop you a box where you
can select the storage card as the location to install. Similarly, if you
are installing .cab files (installing directly on the mobile device) then
with WM5.0 and higher you will get the option whether you want to install it
on main memory or storage card when you execute the installer. Other options
include what Chris has provided you where you have greater control of
specifying under which folder the application should install.
