Not many. It seems most software firewalls today are very bloated compared
to the ones of a few years back and that they are in competition with each
other to see which product can confuse the user the most with endless pop
ups that tend to impress software firewall reviewers. I really liked an
older version of Kerio, version 2.14 that I still have a copy of, though it
may not have the logging detail you like. For logging you could not beat
Sygate though I believe Symantec owns them now so I am not sure what the
newer versions are like. Tiny Firewall also used to be pretty well rated as
a simpler firewall though again I am not sure what the newer versions are
like. I believe you still try just about all of them for free. Though it is
not a stateful firewall and can not do any logging for Windows 2000
workstations using an ipsec filtering policy can work very well especially
due to the fact is that it is free and built into the operating system, uses
very little system resources, can filter outbound traffic [no application
rules though], and can be centrally managed via Group Policy.
