I have a PC running XP Home and a moblie device running WM5
When I synchronise with Activesync4, no data proir to two weeks ago is
transfered.

Data on Outlook on the PC goes back to early 2004.

Every time I sync the machines any data on the mobile device more than two
weeks old is deleted.

Does not appear to be a firewire problem. The same problem happens when
trying to sync to a second computer. The mobile device is recognised but
early data is not transferred

Any comments / help please - thanks

Depending on the data type, you can modify the synchronization settings for
each data type you sync such that older data is included. The ActiveSync
defaults only synchronize data in a two week window with Desktop Outlook for
Calendar.

You can go to Tools->Options and click on a particular sync service provider
to edit options.

Let me know if this works. Thanks.

Hi,
The default for synchronizing the Calendar is to remove items that are over
2 weeks in the past and leave them on the PC. To change this synchronize
with the PC, open ActiveSync on the desktop and click Tools - Options to see
a list of different types of data that is synchronized. Select the Calendar
and then click the Advanced button to change the default selection. You
can choose to sync all Calendar items.
