I was reading article in Information Week and they mentioned that palm will
release the patch for Daylight Saving Time for Treo at the end of next week
(begining of March), isn't it little late to release tha patch and then
have everyone update it before March 11.

It's a fairly simple configuration change, the patch is barely even
needed.

Insert something clever here.

What change do you have to make?

On current versions of PalmOS, you just need to go to the Time & Date
settings page, edit the appropriate location, you can change when DST
starts / ends.

I recall roughly the same existing back on one of my earlier Palms, I
believe even my IIIe.

Agreed it is simple to do but tedious in that you need to update for
each US city and time zone. Presumably, the update will do it for all
locations in one go.
