I'm having some trouble with DOS where it doesn't recognise commands. It
doesn't even recognise the "help" command. Any suggestions?

You're in the wrong newsgroup, but it seems you have lost your PATH
environment variable. Fix this in My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced.
