Hi, going through the security logs which I apparently don't do
frequently enough, I found a computer account in AD that I don't
recognize. I looked through my list and it wasn't on the list. Called
the 1 vendor that gets in and it wasn't there's. The computer
account's name is "Our Domain name" + "SEND" so: DOMAINSEND. I can't
tell if it's a "real" computer or virtual. I can tell the account was
created about a month ago and is being denyed log on rights logging in
as various legitimate users through Kerberos. I have done searches at
Symantec, McAffee, Google, CNET, Microsoft and a few others with
DOMAINSEND as the search criteria and got nothing back. My plan is to
disable the computer account but wanted to see if anyone has come
accross anything similar. Kinda' scared to disable the account in case
that action triggers something else. Any advice?

You can't leave it like that........

what happened!

If it makes you feel better I tore the drives out of a WINNT box years ago
due to a invalid systems disk error on boot, I spent all night trying to
figure it out till my boss came in in the morning and removed the floppy
disk! Well I was only a lad back then!
