Hi,
when I try to install DBD::RAM I get this error:

Can't locate object method "STORE" via package "DBD::File::db" at
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.3/i686-linux/DBD/File.pm line 275.

Installed Modules are up to date:
DBD::File 0.32
DBI 1.47
DBD::RAM 0.072

Perl v5.8.3
Linux 2.4.20

I searched in the web for this error and got two references to it, but no
solution.

Can anybody help?

Is there any reason why you want to intall DBD::RAM and not the more
recent DBD::AnyData?


From the README of DBD::AnyDATA:

HISTORICAL NOTE: this module was formerly called DBD::RAM. Its name
was changed because many people were unaware that the module supports
file operations in addition to in-memory operations. See the Changes
file for a description of changes since the last release of DBD::RAM.

The only reason was that I didn't know it. :^)
I installed DBD::AnyData and it just works. You saved me a lot of headache,
thanks a lot for the usefull hint.
