I need to set my treo 650 hotsync manager to handheld overwrites desktop. I
do not have the hotsync icon in the tray. When I am able to get it into the
system tray area and go to CUSTOM I get all of the CONDUITS except System
where I can change the setting to handheld overwites desktop.

Can anyone help in these 2 areas?

The first area you need help with (no hostility intended):

http://www.cs.tut.fi/~jkorpela/usenet/xpost.html

As for the latter:

Have you tried bringing up the HotSync Manager by calling it from (under
Window$) PATH/hotsync.exe? That icon sometimes disappears or HotSync
Manager crashes. Have you considered setting all your data (profile) aside
and re-installing the Palm software? Since you want to overwrite the
desktop, you might even need to back-up nothing in your profile.
