Hey Everyone, I need abit of help going about creating a realistic
website without the programming - It is just needed to help visualize
a description i have produced for a potential website for a school
project. Is dreamweaver the best here?? If not - any suggestions? I am
rather stuck here!
Any replies would be great - Thanks.

Dreamweaver might work. My experience is that someone who can't code by
hand will make a mess out of the site using Dreamweaver. But if you
don't want to learn HTML, Dreamweaver would be OK.

There is also a program called Kompozer that some people like.

If all you need is to show a visual of a design concept, can't you just
create a graphic? Does this have to be in the form of a web page? You
are talking about a POTENTIAL website, not an ACTUAL website, aren't you?

I find that a graphic doesn't tend to look up to scratch - but in this
case it may be the best option. Yeah, i was hoping to create the
visual concept in the form of a web page - basically i have to suggest
if a 'pretend' business should move its concept from a catalog
clothing company to an online e-commerce B2C service so it is just a
potential website. I just didn't know which way would look good
without programming as we haven't been taught this yet - I doubt they
even expect a mock up website but i thought it would be helpful with
my description. I will take a look at the website you suggested : )

I this case, you will want to show more than 1 page. You will want to
show a home page, a page that demonstrates navigation into the catalog,
a product page and the shopping cart. You may even want to demonstrate
some functionality.

Look into DreamWeaver, if you have access to it (I wouldn't purchase it
for this). Or look at Kompozer.

If you can't make something work with DW or Kompozer, you may have to
show images.
