I've synchronized multiple devices over the years to two computers
without problems (everything from Pocket PC 2000 through Windows
Mobile 5).

It is funny, our friends at MS never seems to encounter issues with the
SW they issued, otherwise they would not have released the SW... but
seriously we have those problem and are looking for solutions. As more
and more people seem to purchase Windows Mobile 5 Devices the number of
new AS 4.1 Issues posted to this group is increasing daily.... I wonder
what this group will be like after Xmas?

Most of the problems posted here in the group did not get successfull
help to solve there issue as fare as I could trace.

Yes, you are right, this "complaining" will not help either, but I am
so disappointed that I simply put the 700$ device aside as it is of no
use as long as the synch problems via Activesync 4.1 for the calendar
are not solved, it is simply useless!

Happy Xmas to all

I'm not in any way employed by MS.

I try my best to help, however there are so many possible things that
it can be hard to figure out what is going on remotely. However, in
response to your problem, it sounds like it is a problem with
ActiveSync and/or Outlook on your computer - try closing all other
programs, and ensure that the device is plugged directly into the
computer (not through a hub).

Sorry for mistaking you as beeing employed by MS, you lucky! Thanks for
trying anyway.

I have the same problems on two different computer and they are both
connected directly without a hub. I tried all the possible advices from
Hardresetting the PDA to reinstall Outlook etc.... the problem seems
either to be in the ROM of my MDA Pro IV from Deutsch Telekom or in the
Active Sync 4.1 but I really can't imagine something else! As I have no
sync problem with the other categories like notes, tasks, etc I exclude
a problem with the USB connection.

Lets wait and see when the next version is getting out.

I may be naïve, but I am hoping to solve this problem in current version, or
at least find the root cause, so someone can fix it by design and not hope it
will be fixed by coincidence in next release. Do you also have Bluetooth on
your PC? That came to my mind as another thing that may be behind the
phenomenon "only we are having". I would be willing to investigate any idea.
