Write to Google and Yahoo and Hotmail. It's their servers stripping out
whatever seems to be missing. Better yet, why not just send plain text
with a link to a page - that way you know that _everyone_ will get the
same message, and the recipient can go to the page in question. Some
email clients automatically put HTML messages in the trash folder (mine
does).
