Converting .PXL files Walter 10-05-2005

 All of a sudden my computer stopped converting . PXL files to .XLS files
(when copying from the PPC to the PC). On the MS Active Sync (3.8) folder I
can see the pxl2xls.dll, although I can't see an entry in the "conversion
rules" window. But on my work computer, the conversion works, so the problem
is not on the PPC side.

I also tried re-installing AS, to no avail.

Any idea if there is some registry change I can make so that the pxl2xls.dll
can be seen again by AS? Thanks!

You could try to register the DLL (CMD: regsrv32 pxl2xls.dll).

Hi,
I have seen multiple issues with the file converters. I suggest keeping all
the programs in the desktop Excel format since the Pocket PC can read and
write the files natively. Also, you can convert the files on the Pocket PC
from PXL to Excel format.

Oh I forgot. With ActiveSync 4.0 there are no more file converters.
