I've been pondering this a bit as Autocad Map seems to lack one featue I
desparately need, the ability to link external databases to lines. It can
be
done using something cumbersome called Xdata which the ordinary user doesn't
have easy access to. This linework represents pipe runs between sanitary
manholes and other strutures.

Does anyone have any insight into this possibility that they could share?
Pros/Cons? All my data is contained in Microsoft Access database. Some of
these databases also have photo images that I cannot access from Autocad
Map. One thing I'd really like to be able to do is click on an object and
show it's data along with pic.
