Anyone know of a good Content Managment system,
I need to update avents, music etc. But I whould like the system to
delete the old content automaticaly ie. old music listings, etc.

This is rising to the level of a sticky post or FAQ.
Drupal, Mambo and Joomia (which really is Mambo) are some of the more
popular.
Someone mentioned Zope recently. I cannot seem to connect the dots
with it. Maybe it's an acquired taste.

certainly it is - I've seen some good sites built using plone/zope - and
lots of 'nearly' sites.

I have seen them too. I installed zope on a local machine from Fedora
Extras. I just cannot seem to comprehend the system. The Fedora
installation creates a service listening on 8080. It's ME not Zope. I
just cannot make sense of the whole thing. Old dog - new tricks. BTW,
it has a pretty large footprint.

never say never - but I do know what you mean. The entire "let's start
with a template and squeeze in the content" world appears incongruous in
the context of the www.
