 I've search the web and am now succumbing to posting on the USENET for
this issue. Is there, or is there not a fix to ActiveSync changing the
"Display as" field value to be the e-mail address rather then the value
I enter into Outlook.

I really can't see how it could help for "Display As" field issue. Am I
overlooking something, Chris?

The fields displayed in pocketoutlook are not configurable... however;

You can set the email address (or any of the communications fields) to
be the default display on the "list" by either tapping the right edge of
the line, then tapping the contact info you want as default for that
contact. With the line highlighted, you can also toggle and set the
display field with the left/right of the dpad.

finally, you can tap/hold the contact line and select "send email" or a
number of other direction actions for that contact.

I still do not see the solution. Forgive me my narrow-mindedness, but how it
is related with problem that
