Hi, there is a hardware ( Datalogger ) that it will have a real time O/S. Im
searching for a way to bypass the activeSync because is dificult to create a
activeSync in the datalogger since its a firmare.

there are a number of ways to transfer data to and from a ppc such as
serial, ir and bluetooth which are (relatively) easy to program or
control. Wifi is another option.

USB is possible, but problematic due to the fact that it is normally a
"client" rather than "host" and I am not aware of programmic use of this
connection to transfer data outside of activesync other than one app
which configures the ppc as a mass storage device on connect.

Yes, assuming I have to use USB. There is not any app to by pass the AS
thiking the datalogger is a "host" ?

USB doesn't assign 'host' and 'device' based on just software. Look at the
connectors! They're different. Only one end of the connection is
qualified, by its hardware design, to be the host.

>> datalogger <<

We still have very little to go on here... for example;

Does the datalogger have host capabilities?

Does the datalogger have the ability to read a memory key?

Are there any other comm options?

As Paul notes, if the datalogger doesn't have host capabilities, they
can't talk to each other.
