Hi Matt,
Which OS does your wife's Dell PDA run on?
If its pre-WM5.0 then her change to the WM5.0 might bring in a few
surprises. The Smartphone should support everything you have said except
for Notes and File sync. But if Calendar and Contacts is her primary need,
that should sync without any issues except that they would lack category
based sync features which were available in pre-WM 5.0 devices.
You have to disconnect the Dell PDA and simply connect the new Smartphone to
setup a new partnership. Set the information's type that you want to sync
and you should be ready to sync. Just note that if you plan to sync both,
then you will need to sync them one at a time.
