I have a T|C and enjoy the wireless connection when an AP is available and a
modem slab to use when traveling but I am curious to know if there is a way to
directly cable to a 10 BaseT network? I see no advantage to using a Palm for
surfing tied to a laptop when the laptop would offer better viewing and speed.

Is there a solution out there?

You're probably looking for an Ethernet Cradle. They are hard to find in
stores, but there are occasionally a few on eBay.

Thanks for the reply. I see that a network solutions exists but the price is
suprising.

Try Softic PPP (I am not sure if this is exactly what you want). You
need to run it on a PC through which you connect your palm, and
configure the connection on the palm.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but using WiFile Pro, you can
connect to your wireless network and copy files. You can even use WiFile
Pro to connect to FTP servers. It's a great piece of software. It can
also be used to stream MP3 but it's less comfortable.

Laurent
