No matter if I turn Closed Captioning on or off or set it to "On when muted"
either in the TV or DVD general settings the CLOSED CAPTIONING stays ON all
the time when playing a DVD. Its off while watching TV but during DVD
playback its always on. Tested movies from Windows Media player and I can
turn the closed captioning off. I have the Nvidia Decoder with an ATI Radeon
X700. It worked fine for quite some time until an update along the way made
it stick on. Any ideas?? Im an MCSE so its no big deal to go into the
registry if I need to.
