I just recently installed a fresh copy of MCE 2005 into my new hard drive. I
installed everything I needed to make mce 2005 work just like the way I had
it set up on my old hard drive. But for some reasons, I couldn't get the
closed captioning to work. Regardless of what setup I choose, I don't see the
captions. I decided to go to hauppauge website and installed their new driver
for my pvr-250 tuner card. And yet that didn't work. I know the card supports
closed captioning. I had it before. So, that's definitely not the problem.

I hope you guys can help me.

Decoder: PowerDVD 6
Tuner card: Hauppauge PVR-250
OS: MCE 2005
