Cingular 8125 stopped syncing via USB... ntenspy 04-24-2006

We use the Cingular 8125 SmartPhone's and Exchange 2003 SP1 and we do use the
AUTD push technology but are problem is not with that. An employee has been
using this phone for about 2-3 weeks now which was preconfigure with her
exchange settings and it has work without issue that whole time.
All of a sudden, she can no longer sync with Exchange via USP receiving the
error:

The Server Could Not Be Reached. This can be caused by temporary network
conditions.
Support Code:80072ee2

There is no adverse network condition is in effect. I have attempted to
delete the source (Exchange settings) and re-configure with no luck, same
result.

First, how does the SmartPhone communicate with Exchange while connected via
USB and Active Sync?

Has anyone seen this error and/or symptoms before?

Any help with this matter is much appreciated.

TIA,
Phil T.
