I also have a Cing3125. The first month was hell because of an error they
made at setup. Java should be fine. Read on.....
Your IE should work without problem. You must have both a voice and DATA
plan with your provider for full features to function. While Cingular told
me I had both from the outset, they failed to setup the data plan. It
resulted in a large bill because I used Pocket MSN and Medianet to get
messages-assuming this was the data plan.
When I called them after getting a huge bill, Cingular realized they made
the error. Call your service provider to check on the status of your data
plan and find one that fits your needs as they vary a great deal in cost.
