Off topic for this newsgroup.
In Windows (not Media Center interface).
While your external drive is plugged in.
Start | Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Computer Management
In Computer Manager, Storage | Disk Management.
Right Click the volume that is your external drive | Change Drive letter and
path.
See the window click the Change button and make it what ever unused drive
letter you wish.
