Can't syncronise rfc 10-10-2006

 I have a v1240 (The vodafone versio of the Toranado by HTC).

I have previously had it syncing fine via both USB and bluetooth.

I have had to resinstall everything on my PC and now it doesn't sync. I get
error ox80004005, it suggests deleting the partnership, which I have done
several times.

It connects, it begins the sync and then falls over.

TI have checked the outlook file with scanpst, and the same file suynconises
wit hmy Ipaq which suggests it isn't he fiel that is faulty.

Can some one help pleae?

 After more experiementation, I have discoverd it will syncronise everyting
BUT the contacts. I tried exporting and reimportng htem but it makes no
difference.

Any ideas folks?
