Hi,
I have a Windows XP SP2 notebook with Office 2003 and ActiveSync 4.2.0 and a
Acer n50 PDA with Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition.
I have a problem: i cannot syncronize the Sent Items folder in the default
Outlook e-mail account.
I have enabled the options "Keep copy of sent email in Sent Folder" in
Windows Mobile but when I send and email via Outlook on my desktop the item
is not syncronize on the PDA.
Any help?
Thanks,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
The mails from your Sent folder of the desktop will not be synchronized with
the device. The "Keep copy...." option o the device will only keep a copy
of the mails that were sent from the device. For a work around refer --

Please log in for more thread options Dear Raj Pillai,
Many thanks for your reply.
It´s really strange why the Sent Item folder cannot be syncronized.
I have created a folder as the workaroud says and I can get the items to be
syncronized.
But now I have a another problem: on the PDA this new folder in the Sent
Item is like a Inbox folder because I cannot view the field Sent to. Instead
I only see the field From (where Windows Mobile shows my email address).
Is there a way to see and sort the Sent Items by the From field?
Many thanks,
Daniel

Please log in for more thread options Hi Daniel,
The Sent folder synchronization from desktop to device is not supported for
a simple reason - Pocket Inbox doesn't support HTML. Therefore any mails
that were sent in the HTML format would lose all its formatting if it were
synchronized back from the device to the Sent folder. This is one of the
primary reasons why Inbox synchronization is Desktop to Device and Outbox
synchronization is Device to Desktop.
With respect to the workaround - Sorry but that is a limitation you will
face. Not aware of any other solution except for the option to bcc the
mails to yourself. See if that approach works for you.
