contacts I want to sync. When I richtclick contacts the settings tag stays
grey and I cannot select it. Anybody an idea on how to fix this.

Hi,
ActiveSync 4.x dropped support for category sync for contacts with Windows
Mobile 5.0 devices. There is no option to add this feature back into
ActiveSync.

Dear Chris,
Although not very satisfactory thank you for your answer. I do however see
the settings tag when I rightclick on contacts but it remains grey,
hopefully MS will put it back in a later version.
Thanks, John

Hi Chris,

May i ask why Microsoft have made this decision, and if - and when - they
intend to add the feature in the future? All mobile operators in the UK think
the feature exists - and indeed, for many, it is a very persausive reason to
use a microsoft mobile operating system.

I'm pretty sure i'm not the only business user who does not want to download
all 3000 contacts to my phone!
