Hi all:
I am working with a multiple machine install of MSCRM for the first time
(all installs to date have been SBS). So my setup is thus:
Machine 1: WS 2003, AD, Exchange
Machine 2: WS 2003, SQL, MSCRM
So I am on machine 2, and I try to access a shared folder to copy a hotfix
to the server. I get the file copied to C:\Temp on machine 2, but when I try
to run it I get an error:
"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have
the appropriate permissions to access the item".
I am logged on as CRMDOMAIN\Administrator, and CRMDOMAIN\Administrator is
part of the local administrators group on machine 2. I thought this would
give the CRMDOMAIN\Administrator access to all the resources on machine 2,
but I must be missing something.
When I logged off machine 2 and logged back on as local administrator, I
could run the file...
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for any and all help.
