Hi,

I've created a .net queued component, as described here
http://www.lcbridge.nl/vision/2006/queuedcomponents.htm.

In Component Services, if I check "Enforce access checks for this
application", I cannot start the application. The event log error is
as follows:

Event Type:        Error
Event Source:        DCOM
Event Category:        None
Event ID:        10016
Date:                31/05/2006
Time:                11:14:42
User:                NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Computer:        UK-9VPJG0J
Description:
The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local
Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

to the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM SID (S-1-5-18). This security
permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative
tool.

I feel I should be able to fix the problem using the instructions here

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/support/ee/transform.aspx?ProdName=Windows%20Operating%20System&ProdVer=5.2&EvtID=10016&EvtSrc=DCOM&LCID=1033

But unfortunately, the registry entry for
does not have a "friendly name"
so I can't change its access privileges in DCOM Config.

Any help much appreciated.

(BTW, I couldn't seem to find the most suitable MS group to post this
to. Any ideas?)

Regards,

Gareth
