Can't see future appointments when I change color scheme Ted 08-02-2007

I downloaded a number of the Themes that are on the Windows Mobile website.
They look great except that when I look at my calendar only the highlighted
appointment is visible. The others appear as simply white boxes.

The interesting thing is that for appointments that have already occurred,
they're all visible. The other thing to note is that I'm seeing this only
with the themes I downloaded from the MS Owners Circle site. The two color
schemes that came on the phone work fine.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Phone: Cingular 3125
OS: WM 5.1 Smartphone

Hi Ted -
I had the same problem but didn't remember adding the new themes until I saw
your post. Apparently there's a problem with the new themes and/or the
background pictures from the same site.

And in all fairness to our friends at Microsoft, I must admit that the links
on the Owners Circle site were not working properly, and I thought it was
just a bug with the page and got the URLs to download by looking at
page/view. I'm thinking maybe someone in Redmond broke those links
deliberately and they're also going to fix them some day, although it's been
nearly 2 months. Very annoying but I'm so glad to find out what the problem
is...

Thanks,
Rob

Rob, after not getting a response from the MS folks I sent a message to the
developers of those themes, Lyma Design. They were very responsive &
acknowledged the problem & corrected the theme designs. Don't know if
they've been uploaded to the Owners Site however.

Regards,
Ted

Ted,
As of yesterday there were quite a few themes on the Owners Site but all of
the download links are broken. And so I can only assume that means there's
still a problem. I'll let you know if it changes.
