I have located a troubleshooting guide for the Cingular 8125.
Problem:
"I cannot connect to the Internet through
Wi-Fi or ActiveSync (Desktop
passthrough)."
Solution:
"Please change the first connection setting
from “Media Net” to “My Work Network”
or “My ISP”. (Start > Settings >
Connections > Connections > Advanced >
Select Networks > choose “My ISP”)."
