Please log in for more thread options There is no particular advantage to letting the AS filter convert, except
for file size. There are many features in Word that Pocket Word doesn't
support. The filter strips associated formatting out and leaves you with a
smaller file. Not converting doesn't strip the features out it, just doesn't
display them on the PPC. Caution. In either case, making ANY change to the
file on the PPC will translate the file into a Pocket Word format, removing
all the unsupported features. That feature-less file will be sync'd back the
PC by AS. (Assuming the last modified date is later on the PPC) That of
course only happens automatically to files in the sync'd file folder. Files
you drag onto the PPC from somewhere else, of course won't automatically be
ruined when you connect again.
