Even worse, 2G-data phones like my Wizard can't retrieve e-mail and
take phone calls at the same time, so increasing the polling
frequency increases the odds that a significant number of calls go

Apparently there's a BES client for WM6 kicking around, and some of
the soon-to-be-released HTC models will include one.

I haven't used it however- I think a version of it is kicking around
the forums at xda-developers.com, but I can't vouch for it's
legality, usability, or stability.

I'll do some more google searching and make some calls and see where I land.
It sounds like some options are available.
