 Hello,
I am using spreadsheet::WriteExcel module for writing my output to excel
file. But the user now wants to have macros in the excel file.

Is there anyway that I can write macros in the excel file ? I used POI
(Java library) which could not write macros, but atleast used a template.
The documentation says Spreadsheet::WriteExcel cannot use a template also.
Please help me !!

Check the docs of Spreadsheet::WriteExcel, in the "TODO" section. The
author says that he probably won't implement macros, because the format
of macros (that is, how they are actually stored in the Excel file) is
not documented. I would guess this is why POI doesn't implement them
either.

Other folks have thought of using Spreadsheet::ParseExcel::SaveParser,
to try to mimic a template system. But this solution may not support
macros either. I haven't learned it yet, but you might be able to:
