I have never been able to synch my calendar events for any that have text.
Mail, Notes, etc work ... but I need my calendar entries. The entries have
more than dates in there (conf call #s, attachments, etc) and are a large
part of my PIM data. This problem took forever to figure out why some synched
and others did not and I have narrowed it down to ones that have
notes/attachments. Plus I also have the frequent ActiveSynch Failures and
requiring Soft Resets (0x80000xxx) when Calendar is enabled in ActiveSynch.

I have an Axim x51v
ActiveSync 4.1
Windows XP
No Local Firewall Enabled
Outlook 2003
All Inbox items stored directly to a PST file when they come in
Corporate Work environment

This same set up worked like a charm with my Axim X50v with Windows 2003.
This new device has been a nightmare with the same set up.

Anyone have any ideas ? Looks like I am stuck with this thing ... I really
do not use it now since it is not worth loading up any apps or configuration
since they get wiped with the numberous hard resets.
I have tried almost every suggestion I could find (Detect and Repair,
uninstall and remove all ActiveSynch references from registry, etc).

I am beyond frustrated here .....

Hi,
It is my understanding that attachments in the Calendar and Contacts will
not synchronize. This is becase the Calendar and Contacts are limited to
approximately 26k for all notes including the attachments. I bet the
attachmens are larger.

No ... that is not the issue. it is not just the Attachements, but if there
is ANY text written in the body/notes field.

the only thing that synchronizes are Calendar entries that have a title and
not more. (i.e. "Lunch", "Dr. Appointment").

The Task Switcher app causes this problem (though not necessarily the
culprit in your case). Stop Task Switcher and re-sync.
