Hello.

Is it possible to use cached credentials for the administrator account
on a win2k3 server that is connected to a domain? The server is NOT a DC
its just a standalone.

On my Winxp its working but not on the server?

Thanks in advance

If the computer is a domain member and it is connected to a network where
it can reach the domain then you're not using (and by definition can't use)
cached credentials. If the computer in question is truly disconnected from
the network then you can certainly use cached creds with Server 2003. Why
do you assume it doesn't work?

If at first you don't succeed, you must be a programmer.

Hello thanks for the response.

Well if i try to login with my own domain account on my laptop when its
complete offline i can still logon, but if i try the same with the
administrator account i wont work? And i have ofcourse tried earlier to
connect with the administrator account when im online but it seems its
not saving the login to the cache...

Hello.

The first question was a misunderstanding, the question is about if
domain users can logon to a terminal server session even if the DC is
offline. I should work with all settings set to default?
