Can anyone point me to a list of the Compact Flash 802.11(b or g) cards
that are compatible with the Sharp SL-5500 (Zaurus)???

I've been Googling this, and have come up with a couple of cards that
are reported to be compatible (DLink DCF-650W, for instance). I don't
want to spend more than I have to, though. (I only paid $122 for my
SL-5500.)

There are some Sandisk 128M/802.11b cards that can be had pretty cheap,
but I don't want to waste money on one unless I know it will work.

Any recommendations?

Not a list, but I have pretty good luck with a Belkin 802.11b in mine.
It doesn't show a part number, but the FCC ID is O6M-PW250

I bought an EagleTec 802.11b ET-CWB1000 card which worked straight
away (although note I'm using OZ, not the Sharp rom).

Mind you, it doesn't work now. I assume I bent it (or something)
and damaged it. It's hard to tell, since I don't know any other
pda users to get to test it. I certainly haven't tweaked my PDA
os.

I don't own a Zaurus, so can't answer your question directly, but came
across a $26 offer on the Sandisk card you are talking about while
shopping for some other stuff on that site

http://www.saveateagle.com/sacowica12wi.html

For what it's worth you can try it and send back if it does not work. It
does not seem like "all sales final" sort of offers.

Good luck!

Cheers,
Dmitri
