CD Burner won't work - Windows media player 11 pcampo 03-19-2007

 Ive been burning CD's on windows media player 11 since I bought the PC a year
ago with zero problems, until yesterday. I went into WMP 11 just like I had
done many times before & clicked on burn, added the files I wanted on the CD,
loaded the blank CD and nothing happened. Thats when I noticed above the Burn
List it says "connect a burner and restart player"
What does this mean and can anyone help me fix this?

what operating system and hardware you 2 using?
are all the cables pluged in secure in the back of your optical
drives?
do the drives play audio cds?

hello,

I don't have a solution yet. I also tried to burn a cd on my portable and
it doesn't go either...The only thing that's different from before is that we
have installed Vista on both computers. I'm going to have to call someone to
help out...compu doc in Belgium...don't have the time to figure it out
myself...

Agent0 you'll have to be more specific for me to help you, it could be
its not connected properly or you dont have the drivers/ codecs
installed. what are your computer specs? what operating system are you
using? will the drive play music cds or read data cds? if you live in
shropshire ill come and sort it for you. ps your PM inbox is full and
not acepting new messages so i had to post this here!
