Bug with tabs toolbar -- with fix Oren Novotny 08-10-2005

I was having a problem for a long time on one of my machines; I couldn't get
the tabs to work. After many, many emails to support, they really couldn't
figure out the problem. (If there's an MSN person out there, the tracking
number is CST196389861ID.)

Well, I found it and I hope that this helps some of you out there: make sure
the BrowseNewProcess is set to "yes". See
http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/964/ for more information
about the key. I'm not sure why it was set to "no" on my system; I
certainly had more than enough RAM.

So if any of you can't get the tabs to display with the MSN Toolbar, check
that the registry key is set to "yes". As a further suggestion to any MSN
developers, it might be nice if the toolbar checked the value of this key
and fixed it if it was set incorrectly. The only reason it should be "no"
is if the machine has less than 128 megs of memory, but then they really
shouldn't be using the tabs anyway :).

Regards,
Oren Novotny

Good find, Oren.

I'll see if we can have that added to our FAQ.
