Bug: DS indexing DVD John Hamilton 07-16-2005

I have Desktop Search set to index all my hard disks and my email. For
some reason I cannot explain, it decided to index a DVD(VS 2005 Beta 2).
I ejected the DVD, because I wasn't even using it at the time, and
explorer froze and remained frozen until I reset my PC. I could not
bring up the Task Manager, nor could I ctl-alt-del my way to a reboot.
CPU usage seems to have pegged as well, because I could still use a
browser that I had opened, but it would not navigate in a timely manner.

I'm running XP sp 2 with all the latest patches.

Intel p4 3.0GHz w/HT
2GB DDR RAM
ATI 9800 Pro 256MB
HighPoint 374 RAID card(system disk, 2-80GB Western Digitals)
Adaptec Firewire card
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card.
D-Link wireless-G NIC card.

regards,

John Hamilton
